Working with Dundee-based agency, Zen, I developed a new name and brand identity for business communication company 5G Scotland. Their name was heavily associated with 5G technology rather than the valuable services they could provide. And, having already rebranded from 4G Scotland, they decided a complete naming and rebranding project was required.
The project started with brand questionnaires and extensive research to ensure enough information about the business, its customers, and target audiences was gathered to inform the naming and branding process.
Multiple names were generated and evaluated before a small number of names with the most potential were presented to the client. After two rounds of feedback and much discussion, Revolve Communications was selected as the new name for the business. The name reflected the fact that their service is more oriented to the exact needs of the customer than their competitors.
Having finalised the new name and secured the legal documentation and domain names, a new brand identity was developed for the business that would better help them meet their goals and grow their customer base.
With the brand identity created and approved, I was able to deliver the following assets:
The business were delighted with the end results, launching their new name and brand to customers and the world in Spring 2023, and receiving very positive feedback. They are now better positioned to continue to become the market leader in the North East and expand further across Scotland and then the UK.
